Upon contacting Epson, I was informed that they will only accept returns within 30 days of the ORDER date, and the day it was received (over 2 weeks later) is irrelevant. So I decided I needed to return this, as it's no help to me at all- fixing errors is more time consuming than just entering the information into my database. There's a lot of error-fixing with this program. Not only that, but it's not consistent with picking up the information that is on the front pages. With the included software, I cannot treat a multi-page receipt/invoice as a single document, and therefore have to choose which page I take the information from. As a business, I'm often getting receipts from suppliers that are 2-4 pages long, with some information on the front page, and tax and total information on the final page. The software, which is a big part of the big price tag on these, cannot gather the information from multi-page receipts/invoices. I tested this scanner out, and immediately realized that this scanner would not work for me. It was assured to me that this would reliably gather the information from receipts & invoices without requiring manual entry of basic data, like totals, gst, vendor, date.Īfter ordering, it took over 2 weeks for this to show up.
Epson told me sell it on Kijiji-refuse return after 26 days I ordered this scanner directly from Epson website.
